From Churchill: “It’s the courage to continue that counts. Success is not final, and failure is not fatal.” For the Millennials in the audience and other generations who have forgotten: We are reminded that Churchill was outspoken in support of a sometimes unpopular stance during WWII; and he was frequently derided for persevering in the face of overwhelming odds, but never relented . . . the courage to continue. I write a lot about courage in my organizational change management books – Clearly, as both history and the present day tell us, it’s one of the most important elements of success.
