Artificial Intelligence (AI) is beginning to have a small but growing impact on strategy building and the change processes that relate to companies’ futures. Not quite as dramatic as a recent news headline: “Big Brother has plans to include AI processes to “gauge mood” – but somewhat significant just the same”. For one thing, with the better data querying and data management processes that are the result of AI advances, greater improvement in data methodology can allow better ability for acquiring information and predicting outcomes. Data involvement is the heart of Strategy Systems Building, thus the greater precision of the usage and application, the greater is the strategy development effectiveness that is achieved. Plans for the future of companies can also involve the workforce changes made possible by AI and relating to collaboration across a variety of organizational entities such as companies’ units, departments, divisions.
