Eight years ago, I wrote the organizational change management book, Value Plus: Employees As Valuers, in which I detailed the best ways that employers could support their employees and add value to their businesses at the same time. A recent Forbes article has verified that information. Forbes has the following to say on the topic: “American corporations have spent decades slashing jobs, cutting benefits and putting shareholders before employees. But guess what: The Just 100 companies that pay and treat their workers well outperform those that don’t. With unemployment near 4%, the pendulum is swinging back to the workers.
